Slip and Fall
As a customer, you have a duty to watch where you are walking. But a store also has a duty to make sure that spills, ice or snow, and other hazards are efficiently cleared away.
Hotels have a duty to make sure anti-slip coatings are in bathtubs.
And retail stores must stock their items in a way that does not create a fall hazard.
These are not all of the examples, but if you've fallen on a slick floor, or been hurt in a store or other business you should not assume that the store has no responsibility. Talk to an attorney, and determine whether you have a case.
